Robin Maher, RN, BScN is originally from Cole Harbour, NS, but has called Alberta home since 2009. She’s been a Registered Nurse for 12 years, having spent most of that time in the areas of Mental Health, and Harm Reduction. These nursing roles have allowed her to foster her passion for social justice, and act as a strong advocate for health equity for underserved populations. She’s also had a special interest in beauty and aesthetics since she was a teeny tot. In Fall of 2020, she made the decision to pursue her longstanding dream of becoming a cosmetic nurse injector, pairing her love of all things beauty with her passion for helping people feel better, whatever that means for them. Robin received 1:1 injectables training with founder and owner of Beauty Lab Alberta, Monica Sandhar, RN. Following the completion of the Beauty Lab Academy training program and internship, Robin was hired as one of Beauty Lab’s first Junior Injectors for their Calgary location. Robin loves to use dermal fillers and neurotoxin to create symmetry and balance, enhancing the natural beauty that makes us each unique and interesting. She prefers to take a conservative approach to injectables, making small, subtle changes that make a big impact in the ways her clients look and feel. She believes in listening to her clients and working in collaboration with them in achieving their aesthetic wishes. She takes pride in her commitment to going slow and viewing the use of injectables as a journey that requires patience and forethought. You can expect a visit with Robin to start with a thorough consultation to ensure she understands exactly what you're looking for. She will put you at ease with her warmth, sense of humour, and customized treatment plan. You’ll leave with a sense of being heard and taken care of, looking great, and feeling even better.

As a Beauty Lab alumni myself, I love being in a mentor position, where I have the opportunity to welcome and support you into this growing field! I remember being afraid of taking the leap into aesthetic nursing but it has been one of the best decisions I've made. I took the course in 2021 and have been injecting at Beauty Lab since 2022. As I've embraced this teaching role, it's made me realize how fulfilling it is to be able to share my knowledge and passion for this industry. I love being able to mentor new injectors 1:1 and getting to know each of them while creating a fun and safe learning environment. I can't wait to meet you! On my days off, you'll find me trying out new restaurants in the city, escaping to the mountains for a hike with friends, or binge watching a good TV series!
