THE RESIDENCY PROGRAM
3 MONTH WORKING RESIDENCY
In order to take advantage of this work experience program, only those who successfully complete a BL Injector Program and Internship can qualify.
- To be hired as a Resident, candidates must pass a 1. Safety & Anatomy test 2. Consultation & Treatment plan test
- Residents must be prepared to perform all filler and botox treatments independently, without assistance, guidance or supervision - Residency is only available to candidates immediately post a successful completion of a BL Internship and with the recommendation of a BL Educator

Injectors in Canada must be licensed physicians (MD), pharmacists (RPh), dentists (DDS), nurse practitioners (NP), registered nurses (RN), or licensed practical nurses (LPN).

Once a student successfully completes their technical training and their internship program, they qualify to participate in our 3 month Residency Program. This unique working and compensated program, provides our certified injectors the opportunity to true work experience, making them highly competitive candidates for injector positions.
In this quickly growing industry, work experience is the most common asset employers are looking for. This program will allow our graduates to have the more hands-on experience than any other program on the market, ranging from 92 to 104 hours of hands-on, in-clinic experience (depending on their internship duration). We provide all of our students personal references and performance reviews to help them navigate their success.
Qualified participants are required to review and complete a working contract prior to enrolling into BL Residency.

SCHEDULING
- Like Internships, Residents will maintain their profile on our Online Booking System (Vagaro) where they will be identified as a Certified Resident Injector.
- Residents are able to book 1, 4hour shift (11-3pm, 3-7pm) each week for up to 12 consecutive weeks from their start date, a total of 16 shifts. Some days are not available.
- Shifts are available on a first come, first serve basis, and are booked in a google calendar.
- Shifts cannot be cancelled or rebooked.
COMPENSATION
- Once your Internship is complete, Residents will begin charging Certified Injector Rates.
- Residents earn a commission on all service sales during their Residency.
Participants receive an additional Certification identifying their Residency and their total completed hands-on hours.
Do you provide a Medical Director for the duration of my Residency?
- Yes, a Medical Director is provided and included during your Residency with us.
Can I Participate in a BL Residency if I have previous work experience?
- Residents must complete BL Injector Training & Internships to participate in this Resident Work Experience. If you have a unique case, please call us 587-717-0059. Is a Permanent Position with BL possible after I complete my Residency?
- When hiring positions are available, we accept applications from our Residents.
Do I take on the BL Instagram Name?
- Yes. For the duration of your Residency with us, your Injector Instagram Handle will model the collective name! This allows other local clinics to easily see and follow along your journey and growth.

Do you provide references?
- Yes. Participants who complete BL Residency can provide our contact information to potential employers so we can provide them with honest input and feedback of your work experience with us!
Is there a Resident dress code?
- Yes. All Resident Injectors are required to wear clean scrubs and closed-toe shoes for each of their shifts.
What else do I need to know? - Residents are required to sign a contract indicating more details, responsibilities and requirements for the duration of their Residency.
